32 The threshold conditions and financial resources

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is required, in giving Part IV permission1 or imposing any requirement2, to ensure that a building society satisfies, and will continue to satisfy, the threshold conditions in relation to raising money from members or accepting deposits and any other regulated activities3 for which it has or will have permission4. The threshold conditions are set out in Schedule 6 to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
