3 Fees of the Financial Services Authority

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) may make rules for the payment to it of such fees, in connection with the discharge of any of its functions under or as a result of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, as it considers (taking account of its expected income from fees and charges provided for by any other provision of the 2000 Act) enable it:

  1. 3.1

        to meet expenses incurred in carrying out its functions or for any incidental purpose;

  2. 3.2

        to repay the principal of, and pay any interest on, any money which
