163 Right to obtain names and addresses from the register

A member of a building society has the right to obtain from the register of members1 the names and addresses of members of the society for the purposes of communicating with them on a subject relating to the affairs of the society in the following circumstances:

  1. 163.1

        at any time when the society has had its permission under Part IV of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 to accept deposits cancelled2 and has not subsequently been given such permission3; and

  2. 163.2
