151 Information and evidence

The Ombudsman may, in relation to the evidence which may be required or admitted when he considers and determines a complaint, give directions as to the issues on which evidence is required, the extent to which the evidence required to decide those issues should be oral or written, and the way in which the evidence should be presented to the Ombudsman1. In addition, he may, if he considers it necessary for the determination of the complaint2, require a party, by notice given in writing, to provide documents or information of a specified description3.
