147 Transitional provisions

Any complaint made against a building society prior to 1 December 20011 under the Building Society Ombudsman Scheme by a person who was at that time entitled under the terms of that scheme to make such a complaint but which had not been determined2 by that date must also be dealt with by the Financial Ombudsman Service3. Where a complaint is made after 1 December 2001 which relates to an act or omission which occurred before that date, the complaint may be dealt with by the Financial Ombudsman Service provided that certain conditions
