The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 provides a special procedure for challenging the decisions of the Financial Services Authority (FSA). The Act has created the Financial Services and Markets Tribunal (‘the Tribunal’), which is appointed by the Lord Chancellor’s Department1. The Council on Tribunals is given oversight of the new Tribunal under the Tribunal and Inquiries Act 1992.
