27 Extent of contractor’s obligationSubject to the express terms of the contract, the work which the contractor is obliged to carry out impliedly includes all work which is indispensably necessary for the completion of what is expressly described1. This may include work which is not mentioned at all in the contract documents2, work which is inaccurately specified or described in them3, or additional work rendered necessary by supervening events4. It may also include extra work resulting from unforeseeable site conditions5 or from difficulties with a method of working specified
