A.1    Scope of title

There are a number of clauses that are common to most commercial contracts but do not relate directly to the particular subject matter of the contract; instead, they govern the way in which the agreement is generally to operate and clarify the respective rights of the parties both during the continuance of the agreement and, in some cases, after the agreement is terminated.
