A person (‘P’) commits the offence of bribing another person if P offers, promises or gives a financial or other advantage to another person in one of the following circumstances:
P intends financial or other advantage to induce the other person to perform improperly a relevant function or activity1; or
P intends financial or other advantage to reward the other person for the improper performance of such a function or activity2; or
P knows or believes that the acceptance of the financial or other advantage, would itself constitute the improper
