6.6 Confirmation by post

Although it is possible to ask for ‘read receipts’ for electronic mail this is dependent on the recipient not turning this feature turned off. Accordingly, parties may wish to have email confirmed by post with a view to reducing the risk that the notice sent by email was not received, for example:

‘Any notice to be given under this Agreement shall be in writing and shall be sent by email (confirmed by first class mail or air mail)’
