11.6 Duration of agreement

If a period of time in an agreement is stated to be ‘X months from the date of this agreement’, it seems that the date set out at the head of the agreement will be used as the reference point, even if the parties have mis-stated the date of execution of the agreement1. However, in this context it is not entirely clear whether the stated number of months is to run from the date of the agreement or the day after.
