F: REGISTRATION OF BILLS OF SALE

17 Registration

Both absolute bills and security bills are required to be registered in a central register in accordance with the provisions of the Bills of Sale Act 18781. A person wishing to register a bill of sale should produce at the Filing Department of the Royal Courts of Justice:

  1. 17.1

        the original bill of sale,

  2. 17.2

        a true copy together with further copies that may be required, and

  3. 17.3

        an affidavit of the execution and attestation of the bill of sale and of the time it was given or made,
