11 Transfer by indorsement or delivery

Negotiable instruments may be transferred by indorsement1 where they are expressed to be payable to a named payee or order or indorsed in favour of a named indorsee, or by delivery where they are expressed to be payable to bearer or indorsed in blank2. A transferee by indorsement or delivery3 becomes a holder and is thereby entitled to sue on the instrument in his own name4.
