7 Enterprise Act 2002

Further changes were made by the Enterprise Act 20021. Principally, the provisions relating to personal insolvency:

  1. 7.1

        provided a new and more liberal regime for the discharge of bankrupts, counter-balanced by the possibility of the courts making a bankruptcy restrictions order against a bankrupt or the bankrupt entering into an equivalent undertaking2;

  2. 7.2

        modified the law relating to income payments orders and allow the making of an income payments agreement as an alternative to such an order3; and

  3. 7.3

        restricted the right of a trustee to obtain an order
