65 The supervisor

Where an IVA is approved by a creditors’ decision procedure, the person who is for the time being carrying out in relation to the IVA the functions conferred by virtue of that approval on the nominee or his replacement is known as the supervisor of the IVA1. The supervisor must be qualified to act as an insolvency practitioner in relation to the debtor who has entered into the IVA or be authorised to act in relation to him2.
