C: PROCEDURE WHERE NO INTERIM ORDER IS OBTAINED

53 General

The Insolvency Act 2000 amended the Insolvency Act 1986 by inserting provisions allowing the approval of an individual voluntary arrangement without an initial moratorium (ie without first having to apply for an interim order)1. This procedure applies where a debtor intends to make a proposal in circumstances where no interim order has been made and no application for such an order is pending2.
