43 Effect of interim order

During the period for which an interim order is in force1:

  1. 43.1

        no bankruptcy petition may be presented or proceeded with against the debtor;

  2. 43.2

        no landlord or other person to whom rent is payable may exercise any right of forfeiture by peaceable re-entry in relation to premises let to the debtor without permission of the court; and

  3. 43.3

        no other proceedings or execution or other legal process may be commenced or continued (and no distress2 may be levied) against the debtor or his property without the permission of the court.
