267 Suspension of discharge

The Official Receiver or the trustee may apply for the discharge period to be suspended until the end of a specified period or until some special condition has been fulfilled, but the court may only make an order if it is satisfied that the bankrupt has failed or is failing to comply with an obligation under the Insolvency Act 1986 Part IX1.

Subject to one limited exception (which has no application in practice)2:

  1. 267.1

        the amended provisions relating to discharge in effect since 1 April 20043 apply to all bankrupts, including a person who has been made
