24 Allocation to the London Insolvency District not dependent on a territorial connection to the district

There are a number of special cases which are allocated to the London Insolvency District under the special jurisdiction of the High Court and the County Court at Central London, which do not depend on a territorial connection to its district, namely:

  1. 24.1

        non-resident debtor: where the debtor is not resident in England and Wales and, within the six months immediately preceding the presentation of the petition, the debtor neither carried on business nor resided in England and Wales1;
