223 General

The trustee has the powers specified in Parts 1 and 2 of Schedule 5 to the Insolvency Act 19861.

He also has power to appoint the bankrupt:

  1. 223.1

        to superintend the management of his estate or any part of it;

  2. 223.2

        to carry on his business (if any) for the benefit of his creditors; or

  3. 223.3

        in any other respect to assist in administering his estate in such manner and in such terms as the trustee may direct2.
