218 Effect of release

Where the Official Receiver or the trustee has his release, he is, with effect from the time of the release, discharged from all liability both in respect of acts or omissions of his in the administration of the estate and otherwise in relation to his conduct as trustee, save for the exercise of the court’s statutory power under Section 304 of the Insolvency Act 19861.
