The procedure and evidence on such an application is set out in detail in Part Six of the CPR Practice Direction—Insolvency Proceedings1, to which reference should be made.
If the court concludes that the claim is made out, it must make one or more of the following orders:
an order reducing the amount of remuneration which the office-holder is entitled to charge;
an order reducing any fixed rate or amount;
an order changing the basis of remuneration;
an order that some or all of the remuneration or expenses in question is not
