191 Remuneration of trustee

Most of the challenges to a trustee are to his remuneration on which the Rules were substantially expanded in 20101. The trustee is entitled to receive remuneration for his services as such2. Detailed provisions are included in the Rules controlling the trustee's right to remuneration. In particular the basis on which it is to be charged must be fixed by a creditors' committee (or failing a creditors' committee by the creditors).
