187 Procedure

The procedural requirements applicable to this procedure are set out in the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 Rules 12.17 to 12.21. The application must be in writing and specify the grounds on which it is being made1. The purpose of the application must be stated2. The information given by the trustee in support of the application may be limited to such matters as the trustee is prepared to divulge and may refer to a confidential report the contents of which will be sealed and not made known to the bankrupt3.
