184 The hearing

The following persons may take part in the public examination of the bankrupt and may question him concerning his affairs, dealings and property and the causes of his failure1:

  1. 184.1

        the Official Receiver and, where appropriate, the Official Petitioner (ie on a criminal bankruptcy);

  2. 184.2

        the trustee of the bankrupt’s estate, if his appointment has taken effect;

  3. 184.3

        any person who has been appointed a special manager of the bankrupt’s estate or business;

  4. 184.4

        any creditor of the bankrupt who has tendered a proof in bankruptcy.

The hearing is in open court and the examination is on oath2.
