174 Restrictions on dispositions of property in the period between the presentation of the petition (or making of the bankruptcy application) and the bankruptcy order

174.1 The restriction

Where a person is made bankrupt, any disposition of property or payment made by him during the period beginning with the day the bankruptcy application is made or a petition is presented and ending with the vesting of his estate in a trustee is void, unless made with the consent of the court or later ratified by the court1.
