159 Trustee’s continuing duties

Annulment of the bankruptcy order under Section 282 of the Insolvency Act 1986 does not release the trustee from the duties and obligations, imposed on him by the Insolvency Act 1986 and the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016, to account for all his transactions in connection with the former bankrupt’s estate1. In particular, he must submit a copy of his final account to the Secretary of State as soon as practicable after the order of annulment is made; and he must file a copy of that final account in court2.
