103 Service of the petition

The petition must be served personally on the debtor unless an order is made for substituted service1. Personal service is effected by the delivery of a sealed copy of the petition to the debtor by the petitioning creditor in any way allowed by the CPR2. The petition must also be served on any supervisor of an IVA or any member state liquidator that the petitioner knows of3.

Substituted service may be ordered if the court so orders, as under the CPR. Before applying for an order for substituted service, a petitioner should observe the following practice4:
