96 Procedure for appointment of administrator by qualifying floating charge holder

The appointment is made1and takes effect2 by the filing in court of a notice of appointment and such other documents as are prescribed by the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 (the ‘2016 Rules’). For the purposes of an appointment under the Insolvency Act 1986 Schedule B1 paragraph 14, the notice of appointment must be headed ‘Notice of appointment of an administrator by holder of a qualifying floating charge’ and must have the contents prescribed by rule 3.17 of the 2016 Rules3.
