79 Who may apply

An application to the court for an administration order is made by application, which must contain the matters stated in rule 3.3 of the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 (the ‘2016 Rules’)1 presented either by the company2 or its directors, or by a creditor or creditors (including any contingent or prospective creditors)3. The supervisor of a voluntary arrangement can also apply to the court for an administration order to be made4.
