78 Particular procedure in administration

The particular court procedure in administration is contained in the Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 20161. Having regard to the nature of the inquiry by the court and the usual urgency of the application, only very exceptional circumstances justify an order for disclosure or cross-examination in proceedings for an administration order2. The hearing is therefore, even if contested, almost invariably on written evidence.
