247.2 Procedure

The procedure for application is as follows:

  1. 247.2.1

        the company passes a board resolution1 resolving to have the company’s name struck off the register;

  2. 247.2.2

        the company completes the prescribed form2 and sends it together with the prescribed fee to the registrar of companies;

  3. 247.2.3

        the registrar of companies places a notice in the London Gazette stating that he may exercise his power to strike off the company and inviting any person to show cause why he should not do so3.
