242 ECSC levies on coal and steel production

These comprised levies on the production of coal and steel referred to in the ECSC Treaty1 Articles 49 and 50, and certain surcharges for delay2. Although these still appear in the Insolvency Act as preferential debts, the ECSC Treaty expired in July 2002 and it would seem that no liability could arise under it after that date3.
