226 Entry as to liquidation under the Land Registration Act 2002

Where a company registered as proprietor of an estate in land goes into liquidation, the company remains on the register as proprietor, but on application1 a further entry is made referring to the appointment of the liquidator2. In addition, the liquidator may apply for a restriction to be entered in the register to the effect that no disposition by the proprietor of the land other than a transfer on sale is to be registered unless made pursuant to powers granted by the Insolvency Act 19863
