216 Meetings—general rules

The Insolvency (England and Wales) Rules 2016 contain detailed provisions relating to meetings both of creditors and contributories1. Some of these provisions, by their very nature, for example the rules on proxies, only apply if a decision procedure involving a physical meeting is involved. Others, particularly as to voting, apply where a decision procedure of creditors which does not involve a meeting takes place.
