212 Notice of appointment

The liquidator must within 14 days of his appointment publish in the London Gazette and deliver to the registrar of companies for registration a notice of his appointment in the prescribed form1.

The liquidator must also give notice of his appointment to creditors2.

If the insolvent entity is an employer providing a relevant occupational pension scheme, notification must also be given to the Board of the Pensions Protection Fund, the Pensions Regulator and the trustees or managers of the scheme3.
