189 Relationship to other insolvency procedures

No resolution may be passed for the winding up of the company during the period beginning with the filing of an application for an administration order or the filing in court by the company or its directors of a notice of intention to apply for the appointment of an administrator under paragraph 27of Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986 and ending with the company going into administration (or the attempt to put it in administration failing by the dismissal of the application or otherwise)1.
