183 Vacation of office

On completion of the receivership, the administrative receiver vacates office. He must give notice of his doing so:

  1. 183.1

        To the company or, if it is in liquidation, the liquidator; and

  2. 183.2

        To the members of the creditors’ committee (if any)1.

He must also give notice to the registrar of companies within 14 days of his vacating office2. In addition, he must lodge a final abstract (now called a summary) of receipts and payments within 2 months of vacating office3.
