157 Block replacement

Where, as sometimes happens, particularly if an insolvency practitioner has ceased to hold an insolvency licence or if he has left his firm, it is desired to pass all his appointments over to another partner in the firm, a practice has been devised for a ‘block’ transfer of all his insolvency appointments1. This did not obviously fit into the statutory scheme but has now been put on a statutory footing in administrations as in the case of all other forms of office.
