155 Removal of administrator from office

The court may by order remove an administrator from office1.

The administrator of a company vacates office if he ceases to be qualified to act as an insolvency practitioner in relation to the company, and if so he must give notice:

  1. 155.1

        In the case of an administrator appointed by administration order, to the court;

  2. 155.2

        in the case of an administrator appointed under the Insolvency Act 1986 Schedule B1 paragraph 14, to the person who appointed him;
