153 Resignation of administrator

The administrator may give notice of his resignation where he wishes to resign1:

  1. 153.1

        On grounds of ill-health;

  2. 153.2

        Because he intends ceasing to practise as an insolvency practitioner; or

  3. 153.3

        Because there is some conflict of interest, or change of personal circumstances, which precludes or makes impracticable the further discharge by him of the duties of administrator.

If he wishes to resign for any other reason, he must first obtain permission of the court and give notice of his intention to do so2. The administrator must give, to the persons specified below, at least five business
