6: EFFECTS OF AN ADMINISTRATION

112 The moratorium

The moratorium arising on the making of an administration order (or the appointment of an administrator out of court under the Insolvency Act 1986 Schedule B1 paragraph 14 or paragraph 22) is more extensive than that arising from the making of the application1 because it extends to:

  1. 110.1

        the winding up of the company, and

  2. 110.2

        appointing an administrative receiver,

as well as continuing the moratorium which existed in other respects, from and after the application to the court or service of notice of intention to appoint.
