48 General approach

The general approach taken follows the modern approach to drafting commercial documents adopted by practitioners, involving the use of relatively short sentences in clauses that are sign posted to indicate their basic content. Generally, no clause will consist of more than one sentence although there may be occasions when strictly to adhere to that requirement would lead to unnecessarily short clauses and too many clauses.
