If the security includes a mortgage or charge of land the title to which is registered, application should be made for an appropriate entry on the register of the title affected1. Thus, if a legal mortgage or legal charge has been executed, it should be completed by registration and by the entering of the banker on the register as proprietor of the charge in order that he may be fully protected and may (if necessary) exercise his power of sale as legal mortgagee.
