52 Bailee’s duty of care in relation to uncollected goods

A bailor’s failure to collect his goods at the appointed time (or where no time is agreed, within a reasonable time) may reduce or extinguish the bailee’s duty of care, according to circumstances. This modification of the duty may be supported on several grounds1.
