159 Secondary infringement

A person infringes copyright in a work where he does certain acts, without the licence of the copyright owner, where he knows or has reason to believe that an article is an infringing copy1 in the following circumstances:

  1. 159.1

        where he imports into the United Kingdom an infringing article otherwise than for his private and domestic use2;

  2. 159.2

        where he possesses in the course of business an infringing article3;

  3. 159.3

        where he sells or lets for hire, or offers or exposes for sale or hire, an infringing article4;
