146 Subrogation

The Secretary of State retains the right of subrogation in relation to any action against any person for damages in respect of the loss or damage to the object1. Under the terms of the undertaking the owner is obliged to give all such information and assistance to the Secretary of State as he may require. Further, if required to do so by the Secretary of State the owner will also execute a formal assignment of his rights which arise from such loss or damage2.
