129.2 Specific provisions governing the treatment of the object

It is common for the terms of museum agreements to specify the exact precautions and standards of treatment that are to be applied in relation to chattels on loan1. Ordinarily these precautions and standards will be those prescribed in the standard out-loan terms of the lending institution. They may be positive or negative, requiring the borrower to perform certain acts and refrain from certain other acts.
