126 National Maritime Museum

126.1 Lending objects

The board of trustees of the National Maritime Museum has the power to lend any object vested in them for the purposes of the museum (on such terms and subject to such conditions as it thinks fit) to:

  1. 126.1.1

        any gallery;

  2. 126.1.2

        museum; or

  3. 126.1.3

        exhibition

approved (for the purposes of this provision) by the Secretary of State1. This power shall not be exercised in any matter which is inconsistent with any condition attached to a gift or bequest which vested an object in the board for the purposes of the museum2.
