123 British Library

The public authority known as ‘the British Library Board’1 has the power, subject to such restriction and conditions as it thinks fit, to lend any item (and make any part of their collections available) in connection with events of an educational, literary or cultural nature2 and provided that when deciding whether to lend any item and when determining:

  1. 123.1

        the time for which the item is lent; and

  2. 123.2

        the conditions subject to which the item is lent,

the British Library Board shall have regard to the following:

        the interests of students and
